Psychodynamic Psychotherapist

Zoi Tzatzaraki

I am a qualified and experienced Psychodynamic Psychotherapist, accredited by the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) and a member of the Tavistock Society of Psychotherapists. I work with adults experiencing a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, loss, and experiences that can leave people feeling stuck or disconnected from themselves and others. My approach is grounded in psychodynamic psychotherapy, which recognises that our early relationships and life experiences often continue to shape how we think, feel, and relate to others in ways that may not always be conscious.

My clinical training took place at the Tavistock Clinic, internationally recognised for its contribution to psychodynamic psychotherapy and psychoanalytic thinking. I hold a Professional Qualification and an MA in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Systemic Approaches to Working with Individuals, Families and Organisations. Alongside my psychodynamic training, I have also completed Compassion Mind Training with Balanced Minds. Over the past 10 years, I have worked within NHS primary and secondary mental health services and spent two years undertaking honorary work within a specialist trauma service, learning alongside leading clinicians in the field.

I believe psychotherapy offers an opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of ourselves, our relationships, and the patterns that may once have helped us but now leave us feeling stuck. My aim is to offer a thoughtful, reliable, and compassionate space where these experiences can be explored safely and at your own pace, creating the possibility for meaningful and lasting change.
